Our Pre-filter is a lightweight hydrophobic filter fabric. This means the material allows air to flow freely while keeping moisture, snow, dust and debris from passing through. Works great for covering up stock openings to prevent snow from entering the engine compartment.  Our Material can also be used as a prefilter for dusty and dirty applications, simply blow off dust and debris to clean.  Great for Air intakes, over computer and machinery cooling fans. Mesh for Speakers. Pre filter for air purifiers and other such devices.  100% polyester water-resistant woven mesh that can be used for electrostatic prevention. Acid resistant and dust proof.    The mesh count is 130 per inch. Opening size is 115 Microns or .0045in.

    My usage of this mesh is unconventional. I am using it to block moisture from my infinite baffle subwoofers mounted under my car. This product has kept the subs dry and dust free. It's been through car washes and puddles and not one sign of moisture. Great product. Water and mud bead right off.

    Mesh was folded

    The mesh received was folded to fit in a flat packet for shipping. Since I cut this material with a CO2 laser the material must lie flat. The creases caused the material to buckle and not lie flat. Also, the cut shapes must be perfectly flat . The creased material resulted in more than 50% of the product to be unusable.

    No More Snow blocking the Intercooler

    I used the product to wrap the grille of my intercooler. Mo more snow clogging it up. Have been through the woods in deep snow and nothing is building up any more. Intercooler air temps are remaining low.
